Nurturing Achievement: Growing and learning together

Welcome to Battyeford CE (VC) Primary

Expectations for pupils’ behaviour and conduct are consistently high.Lessons are focused and this is reflected in pupils’ good attitudes to learning. Pupils are proud of their school and are courteous and confident to engage in conversation. They listen well to adults and their peers, and show respect for the views of others. Attainment at the end of key stage 1 has been consistently good for the last three years and has steadily increased in KS2 and is now above the national average in reading, writing and mathematics. Spirituality in Action

Spirituality in Action

The best way to think about spirituality in action is through how we support pupils in thinking about and reflecting on their own lives and experiences. This is part of our work to develop pupils' 'Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural' understanding and a key aspect of OFSTED and church school inspections. Below are examples of a numbers of ways in which we provide high quality experiences for pupils to develop their spiritual selves.
