Nurturing Achievement: Growing and learning together

Welcome to Battyeford CE (VC) Primary

Expectations for pupils’ behaviour and conduct are consistently high.Lessons are focused and this is reflected in pupils’ good attitudes to learning. Pupils are proud of their school and are courteous and confident to engage in conversation. They listen well to adults and their peers, and show respect for the views of others. Attainment at the end of key stage 1 has been consistently good for the last three years and has steadily increased in KS2 and is now above the national average in reading, writing and mathematics. Battyeford Film goes Global!

The Pirates of Rabbit Doll Island is selected for screening at The Little Big Shots Festival in Melbourne Australia!

Very exciting news indeed! Our film has been accepted into the 10th anniversary festival of Little Big Shots in Australia. This is a really brilliant children's film festival and we are amazed at the response to our film from the festival directors, who seem to love it! Will we be up for an international award? We will have to wait and see!

This festival starts in Melbourne but then travels to other significant cultural centres in Australia. Like the Sydney Opera House! How amazing would that be if we are shown here!
